On Sunday, My Paw-Paw celebrated his 86th birthday... I can't imagine what all he has seen in those 86 yrs....Segregation, War(WWII Vet,with a purple heart),Depression, Death of loved ones(including his youngest son & wife)... There is so many things his eyes have seen.. Many of which I would love to know more about but he doesn't really talk about the old days.. too many bad memories I suppose. I am sure he has experienced a lot of wonderful things in those years as well. A wife... the birth of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, just to mention a few.

what a beautiful bunch of pictures! your paw-paw has had a very eventful life no doubt! he's a handsome man now, no doubt a heartbreaker in his younger days too.
i'm so glad you got to have such a wonderful gathering to celebrate his 86 years of life and love!
