On Sunday we got together with Jason's side of the family. We were at his brother's house from 1-9.. time just flew by! Jason's sister was in from New York as were her kids, which are all married or getting married really soon. There was 36 of us plus there is 2 more on the way, one in May & one in 2 wks
Each family is to bring a hot dish & a cold dish.. ya never know what you are gonna get.. I made baked corn for my hot & broccoli salad for my cold.

ok.. So I have too many things to post to do just one Christmas.. this is post is for my family. We got together on Christmas Day eat good food, open presents & be Merry!

On Christmas eve we open gifts here at home.. The kids were antsy pantsy all evening long wondering if it was time yet! We tortured them and made them wait while Jason ran to the store for a gallon of milk. While he was gone I read "Twas the night before Christmas" to them. Every time they would see headlights Owen would pop up and say "is it dad?"




We spoiled our children this year.. They got just about everything on their wishlists. It felt so good to see their faces light up with each gift they opened. It was true delight in their faces.

They also recieved a special gift.. a puzzle that they had to put together. When finished it revealed that we are going to Disney in Flordia. I thought they were gonna faint.

Then when they woke on Christmas morning (5:30 a.m.)they found what Santa had left for them. The boys got a flat screen t.v. to share for their room & a hand full of movies. Callie got an American Girl Bitty Baby with a diaper bag for it. Their stockings were overflowing with things as well.. Bakugan, toothbrushes, candy, barbie dolls.

Today Callie is fever free.. whoot whoot! So after we did a few errands, we bundled up to go out and play..

She had fun but was ready to come in and warm up after a half hour or so.

1st good snowfall for the winter

This morning we woke up to such a beautiful sight.. SNOW!! It has been snowing all day and it is to continue into tomorrow morning. It is a true Noreastern storm.
We have got a good amount already. Jason has the snow blower fired up and the boys were chomping at the bit to get out and play since 8:30 this morning. They were afraid it was gonna go away before they got to play in it. They had to wait until Callie went down for her nap because she woke with a fever & of course I didn't want her to go out in it. Poor lil girl :( misses the first good snow!

So after she fell asleep I got to go out for a bit to snap up a few pictures of my boys playing in the snow and I have got to tell you how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new camera. You can see why in these pictures.

Whewwww.. was it hot in the gym tonight! The place was packed full and I bet the temp was well into the 80's!
The kindergartners got to go 1st!! YAY!!! They all done so well and looked so cute. We were sitting way in the back but I did manage to get a few good pictures of my lil man. The got to sing 3 songs and done very well. Carter had a hard time singing due to him having gum in his mouth..LOL! Thanks Jason
